With 40 years in the tech industry, 18 with Net at Work, Peter is an accomplished business technology expert, now deep in learning and using AI.

He came to technology not as an engineer, but as someone trying to solve real business problems and that perspective has never left him.

He began in 1983 automating a New York construction firm from the ground up, then spent fourteen years running his own consulting businesses working with many industries. Today with Net at Work he helps organizations and their advisors think clearly about the software that actually runs their business.

Peter serves on the boards of two local nonprofits – a conservation organization and a volunteer ambulance corps.

Peter lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife Diana Polack, a successful real estate agent, and is the proud father of two accomplished grown children and a very new grandchild.

Outside of work he is a home chef, traveler, birdwatcher, and the author of a Negroni cocktail blog.

Net at Work is a service based organization whose purpose is to Unleash the Power of our clients’ businesses. Our clients own businesses in the small to midsize market with revenues between $10 to $250 million. We strive to have measurable impact on revenue, profitability, and employee/client experience. We use the best in class technology solutions to help us to achieve their goals. We strive to be the virtual (fractional) CIO for our clients and perform as part of their management team. We will: create a five year technology road map; develop annual IT budgets; manage vendors; perform quarterly reviews; implement projects, and monitor all technology at our clients’ workplaces.
